Our church wardens have issued a new statement about the rapid progress being made towards filling the vacancy:

Update on the Vacancy process

                Advertising for a new Parish Priest for both Holy Trinity and St Laurence’s has now gone live and can be viewed on the Derby diocese website (under the heading Vacancies).             The closing date for applications is 11 October with short listing on 16 October and interviews on 30 October. Good progress is therefore being made towards obtaining a new Priest for the parishes and we are hopeful that this leads to an appointment.
